In this 2 hour workshop, Restorative Yoga, Sound Healing and Reiki Healing modalities are layered one on top of the other to help you release deeper and deeper into a more relaxed-and much healthier-state of being.

Together, these three techniques can help you experience a deeper state of relaxation and presence, allowing you to begin to heal from the effects of living a “busy” lifestyle.

Frankincense and other oils have been used for therapeutic and holistic health purposes throughout history to stimulate healing and enhance overall wellness. Combine these enticing fragrances into a yoga and meditation practice to elevate awareness and create a deeper connection through the senses.  The workshop features a cleansing, grounding yoga practice with an accent of essential oils (think balsam and basil).  Take away a sample pack of the oils and continue your yoga bliss at home.

Whether you’re a novice runner, a seasoned marathoner or triathlete, this class is for you!

Hot Yoga for Runners is a four-week program aimed at improving athletic performance and preventing injury. Runners will learn how to use yoga techniques to strengthen the core, increase range of motion, prevent joint injury, improve breathing, and master mental focus.

We will offer a combination of strength building, stretching and restorative postures for runners. Not flexible enough to practice yoga? That is exactly why this class is for you!  Yoga encourages your body to let go of the tightness in the hips, glutes and hammies and as a result you will gain flexibility and strength as well as prevent injury. You may notice after incorporating yoga into your routine that your body feels better when you run and you recover from the long runs more easily.

Taught by Erika Nestor, an avid runner who began practicing yoga nine years ago to complement her marathon training.  Her yoga classes are designed to build strength, stamina and flexibility. A runner herself, Erika understands the specific and therapeutic needs of a runner’s body.  Erika has run eight marathons- Vermont City Marathon (4), Boston Marathon (2), New York City (1) and Chicago (1). She plans on running her fifth Vermont City Marathon in May 2017 and is hoping for a PR

Naomi will introduce us to the gentle Pawanmuktasana series 1 of yoga poses. We will learn how to use basic foundation yoga poses as tools for health and healing.
Pawan
means wind. Mukta means release. Asana, of course, means pose or posture. Thus, the Pawanmuktasana sequences are designed to release the flow of energy, and remove any blockages that prevent its free flow in the body, or in the mind. Though these are seemingly easy poses everyone can do they are powerful and rich.

The secret is out!  Yoga is not just for women.  Face it guys, we are not Gumby. Flexibility is not our strength. We may think yoga is the last thing we could do. But we are strong and we have other qualities which make us perfect candidates for yoga.
Join me, Bill; a businessman, boat captain and yoga teacher, for a 4-part series designed just for you. With specialized stretch and strengthen techniques, we will work on tight hips and hamstrings which contribute to back aches. We’ll address spine mobility to help with shoulder and neck issues. You’ll move better to reach that tennis ball, bend over better to skate, or just move easier around the boat or yard to rack leaves or use the chain saw. Most importantly you get the stress relief benefit of yoga.
Classes are Saturday afternoons from 3-5 PM, Jan 7th and 14th then Feb 4th and 11th.  The price includes an additional free class any time.  Also class passes will be issued for any classes missed.
Reduced stress, back and neck ache relief, and overall mobility to move easier and with more agility in whatever you do. Only $59.00!  Where do I sign up?
